 % of the world’s energy supply. By 2025\, it will likely be 20%. As CPU 
 speeds increase\, so does power consumption. In this talk\, Eric Collins\,
  Sr. Solutions Architect at Submer will give an overview of the different 
 approaches for cooling data centers in the near future as well as a bit fu

 der in the immersion cooling sector. A thought leader with over 30 years
 ’ experience in the IT industry\, in roles from support to professional 
 services to management and working for early-stage start-ups.\n\nWhile at 
 IBM\, Eric was part of a small team that built IBM’s high-performance co
 mputing (HPC) business in the energy sector. Eric then left IBM and was th
 e CTO for a business partner specializing in large enterprise and technica
 l computing. He is frequently sought as a speaker at technical conferences
  including Offshore Technology Conference\, user groups and the annual Sup
