Our goal is to share insights\, strategies\, and com pare notes.\n\n \;\nAbout the Speaker\nLaurent Clerc\, CTO HPC and Clo ud Solutions\, Viridien\n\nBefore becoming CTO\, Laurent oversaw the desig n and operation of large HPC installations worldwide for nearly 30 years\, primarily as VP of HPC services at CGG (renamed Viridien in 2024). Lauren t pioneered the early introduction of technologies such as Linux Clusters\ , GPUs\, and full immersion cooling well over a decade ago. Additionally\, Laurent led software developments\, architecting client/server products f or data delivery\, scheduling\, and visualization of geophysical data. In recent years\, Laurent participated in the transformation of CGG's HPC ope rations\, preparing for market diversification by introducing a service-ba sed organization\, product architectures\, infosec certification\, a moder n customer experience support team\, and DevOps methodologies.\n\nLaurent holds an Engineering degree in computer science from Ecole Centrale de Par is and has had an international career in Australia\, Asia\, the Middle Ea st\, Europe\, and the USA since 2000.
